Zen Zest, Business Featured By Sun Cellular
CEO Michelle Asence saved 80% on mobile phone bills!
You may noticed of late that Sun Cellular – the mobile service provider - has been coming up with the catchy print ads on interesting personalities, most of whom have businesses of their own which require them to be on the phone all day.
Zen Zest was chosen as Sun’s featured company – represented by successful 29-year-old entrepreneur and exporter Michelle Dula Asence who also happens to be the company’s President and CEO.
Zen Zest retails fragrances, aromatherapy and bath and body products. It has a store at Glorietta in Makati City, and has over 40 kiosks in SM, Robinsons and Ayala malls all over the country and in Shopwise Libis. Its products are also exported to North America, the Middle East, Asia and of late, the very discriminating Japanese market.
“I am very flattered that Sun Cellular chose us. There are thousands of businesses out there but they opted for ours,” Michelle said. Among the businessmen who were previously featured on Sun ads include : Sonia Reducindo for Gerry’s Grill, Erick and Emelda Teng for Maldita, Lito and Mark Colona for the Eagle Express Group, Gerry Chua for Eng Bee Tin Chinese Deli and Mike Sanvictores for Premiere Wine & Spirits.
Of the mobile phone brands, the svelte Michelle says, “I can really say that Sun has cut down our communication costs. Retail business is a 24-hour thing and we owners have to be on call 24/7. With Sun, my staff can’t make excuses why they can’t inform me of store problems or report the daily sales. It’s a must that they do this because all of the stores are on Sun.”
Lest you think that the mobile service is only useful to Michelle’s business, think again!
“Sun also keeps me connected with my friends whom I hardly see because of the nature of our business. It’s a good tool for helping me stay connected with every one, especially since we just moved to a new house and we still don’t have a landline,” she said.
And, just like any girl out there, Michelle adds, “With the money I save on cellular phone bills (80%), I can shop more.”
